Here at Rise Park, we encourage all children to bring a healthy, balanced packed lunch each day to support their learning, concentration and overall wellbeing.
A healthy packed lunch might include;

  • a portion of fresh fruit or vegetables (such as apple slices, carrot sticks or cucumber)
  • a source of protein (for example, lean meat, egg, beans or hummus)
  • a starchy food like wholegrain bread, wraps, pasta or rice
  • a dairy item such as yoghurt or cheese.

We kindly ask that packed lunches do not include sweets, chocolate bars or fizzy drinks. Water or milk are the best choices for drinks.

By working together to promote healthy eating habits, we can help children develop positive food choices that will benefit them now and in the future.

Free School Meals

If your circumstances have changed or you are unsure if your children are entitled to Free School Meals. Please contact the school office on 0115 915 3775 who will be able to assist you.

Breakfast Club

We are presently running a breakfast club at a cost of £2.50 a day per child.

The children will be provided with a range of juices, cereals, yoghurt and fruit. The children can arrive any time after 8.00 am. After breakfast the children will be supervised until 8.50am either playing board games or some art. All the children should come through the main entrance.

If you are interested in taking up the option of the Breakfast Club please book and pay through your Arbor account.

May I respectfully remind you that the highest standards of behaviour are expected from the children and that the governors reserve the right to exclude any child from Breakfast Club should their behaviour be unacceptable.
