Within school, there may be times when we wish to consult with other specialist services to provide more specific support for your child.  We will speak to you first if we feel this is needed.

As a school, we are currently able to request support from the autism team if your child has a diagnosis, the learning support team and the educational psychology team.  A team may be contacted when other strategies have been implemented first and further support is needed.

Neurodevelopmental Pathway Support Team (previously BEHT)

The Neurodevelopmental Pathway Support Team (NPST) is who we, as a school, can contact if we wish to request a referral onto the pathway to look at possible autism or ADHD diagnosis.  This service is only for children who are registered with a Nottingham City GP.

They can provide advice, support and guidance on if a referral to the pathway is appropriate or signpost to relevant services.  More information can be found at Ask Lion:

Neurodevelopmental Pathway & Support Team (NPST) | Ask Lion – Nottingham City Directory

You can contact the team on 0115 8761716 or email NPST.enquiries@nottinghamcity.gov.uk

If your child is registered with a Nottinghamshire County GP then a different referral process if required.  Please speak to the SENCo if this is the case.
