Digital Leaders play a vital role in supporting their peers and staff with Computing at Rise Park. Children from Years 5 & 6 work on a weekly basis with Mr Knott and Mr Berry, checking that hardware in our ICT suite is working, charged and organised including iPads, laptops, and coding robots – ready to be used across the curriculum. Y6 Digital Leaders also provide tech support in assemblies, performances and meetings, ensure audio visual technology is running smoothly
Digital leaders play a vital role in supporting KS1 by setting up hardware ahead of lessons, as well as providing vital support in lessons to help them understand core concepts and save examples of their wonderful work in our student intranet.
Digital Leaders also support whole school learning in Safer Internet Day, where they share their tips and techniques to stay safe online in assemblies and special online safety lessons.
