Key Outcomes

Pupils will learn to have self discipline, respect for themselves and others especially staff. We will aim to give all pupils high aspirations and the “can do attitude” to achieve this.

Pupils will be able to look at other people's points of view and understand there is a consequence for any action. We will also look at helping the school develop parental engagement via running parent sessions and meeting and greeting at the gate in the mornings.

Programme

  1. Whole school - Pupils will learn that when playing competitive sports that winning is important but how to win in the right way. We will work on communication skills, show pupils how to express losing in a positive way to fellow teammates and competitors.  Commando Joe will ensure that all pupils show the right behaviours for learning and promote the “can do attitude” throughout school at all times.

  2. Parental Engagement – Commando Joe will stand on the gates in the morning welcoming pupils and parents/carers into school. We will also run a late gate to help increase punctuality.
